Private parties
The gardens are yours to enjoy at any time of year. If you’d like to organise an event of 6+ friends, please let a Committee member know as soon as possible so we can provide support and coordinate with other garden users.
During your event, please remember to:
- Respect other garden users. If you book ahead with the Committee, we can help make sure no one is inconvenienced (you or other garden users).
- Respect the residents who live close by. Very loud music (live or recorded) and rowdy behaviour is not welcome or neighbourly.
- Stay in control of all barbecues. Misuse or forgetfulness could cause damage to the lawns, garden furniture, hedges and trees, not to mention people and pets!
- Observe reasonable time limits. Wrapping up the party or moving it along to the next venue before dusk is good form – it also makes it easier for you to clean up.
- Leave the garden as you found it. There are no rubbish collection bins inside the gardens, so everything you brought in must be taken out with you.
